Reviews
- That brilliant band, and foot stomping warriors KELTRIX. This five piece band from Cambridge have played in the Boro before both at the Onion and Unity to great response and always win new fans every time. They will take you on a joyous journey through folk, reggae, funk, dub and rock with a beautiful celtic twist. Having built up their reputation as true party starters throughout the country at every festival you can name there wont be a stationary pair of feet in the house once these guys get going. Their cunning mix of old folk traditions and contempory dance styles makes them a band who appeal to people of all ages and musical backgrounds and they are not to be missed.

Finishing the night with a soothing set that oozed both passion and drama were Keltrix. Making music that had a Celtic twang courtesy of the violin but the shifted itself altogether with a dose of Ska, they dropped in different influences with an exquisite nonchalance without ever sounding out of place. They had an eccentric air about them and that came off as their USP - they weren't out to follow the mainstream unless individuality ever became polpular...Keltrix instantly injected the room with a uniquely magic
atmosphere. Singer Keri has an expert milky warm voice.
